A part of a small select team of students that strive to decrease misconceptions about social norms regarding health behaviors such as drinking, nutrition, and smoking tobacco on Coastal Carolina University’s campus. Is expected to produce marketing, social-media, presentation, and other ideas at weekly meetings. Holds annual focus groups to receive student feedback. Hosts semi-annual awareness day on campus that includes, but is not limited to, booths with information and games and activities meant to spread awareness.

The Chanticleer Newspaper — August 2015 – Present

Editor-in-Chief, Assistant Editor, Copy Editor, Reporter

Student-run newspaper through the university under the supervision of advisor, Gwendolyn Fowler. Publishes approximately 20 issues a year with weekly releases.
